09:00 AM to 9:00 PM ( on Sunday )

Library reading room opens for the users 361 days a year except a day on Holi, Diwali & National Holidays and likely to be extended for 24 hours.

History
The College Library took its present shape in the beginning of the nineteenth century.

Building
The Central Library is situate in front of Principal's office. This historical building is located in the centre of the college. It is one of the few buildings which gives a glimpse of the structure which existed at the time of the beginning of the School in 1854. Its architecture is a beautiful example of the buildings of the Victorian era of British Empire. The College Administration takes special care of this historical building.

Books
There are 16304 books available in the stock out of which around one thousand books are from various disciplines there include Encyclopedias, Dictionaries, Pure Science, Social Sciences & Humanities also. All students can study books in the library but books are not issued to take home except from the 'Text book bank', meant for poor students.

Journals
Back volumes of 292 Medical Journals and Journals of allied subjects are available way back from 19th Century.

Thesis
Thesis submitted by postgraduate of the college of various subjects for their post graduate degree is also available for reference.

Internet (Cyber Cafe) Facility
Internet (Broad Band) facility available in the Central Library for all members (Teachers/students) with the nominal charges.

Automation
Automation of the library is being introduced and in progress. College administration is very keen to inter link it with National Medical Library (NML) and other medical colleges shortly.
